Free Self-Assessment

Which layer is making you invisible to AI.

Between 73% and 86% of tested B2B vendors receive zero citations from OpenAI's ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Not low rankings. Zero.

Six questions. The assessment names the layer of the Algorithmic Authority Stack breaking first, and whether you are failing to be retrieved at all or failing to be quoted once retrieved.

The Structural Self-Assessment

Which layer is breaking first.

The layers are sequenced. A fix below a break inherits the break, which is why the assessment names the most upstream failure rather than the loudest one.

Layers 4, 5, and 7 are not scored here. They require live surfaces this self-assessment cannot inspect: whether your pages are extractable, where you appear off-domain, and whether you have a citation baseline. The Snapshot covers all three.

The next step

You are getting one query on one platform. The Snapshot runs the whole diagnostic.

Five buyer-intent queries across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The competitor holding your slot and the structural reason why. The critical first fix, and what fixed looks like. Benchmarked against the Algorithmic Authority Index: 20 companies scored in Wave 1, four industries measured in Wave 2.

Questions

Which layer should I fix first?

The most upstream layer that is failing. The seven layers of the Algorithmic Authority Stack are sequenced, so a fix at a lower layer inherits any problem above it. If Layer 1 is broken, fixing Layer 4 content will not produce citations, because AI is not resolving who you are before citation logic runs.

What does it mean if AI does not mention my company?

It means Identity Fragmentation or Citation Invisibility. Not a credibility problem. A structural one. AI cannot classify you cleanly enough to recommend you. The most common causes are Layer 1 Market Identity Clarity and Layer 3 Semantic Density.

What is the difference between an Inclusion failure and a Citation failure?

Citation has two gates. Gate 1 is Inclusion: whether AI retrieves you as a candidate at all. Gate 2 is Citation: whether AI can extract a usable answer once it has you. An Inclusion failure means you never enter the running. A Citation failure means you are retrieved and passed over, which is why publishing more content in the same structure widens the gap rather than closing it.

How long does it take to fix AI invisibility?

Identity clarity and semantic consistency fixes can produce results in 30 days. Trust signal building at Layer 6 takes 3 to 6 months. Entity classification work that hits Parametric Memory takes 6 to 18 months. The timeline depends on which layer is broken first.
